Supply Chain Expert (m/f/d)

Uncertain supply chains, transport delays and quality volatility among suppliers? You don't see problems, you find the necessary solutions!

YOUR MISSION

In a complex, global supply chain, you ensure the availability of materials and react quickly to changes, such as volatile production volumes or quality issues with suppliers. You constantly monitor stock levels and costs and independently implement necessary optimisation measures, such as supplier selection and negotiations with suppliers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Your responsibilities include obtaining and selecting offers, and subsequent commissioning in China, the USA and the EU
  • Price and contract negotiations are prepared and conducted by you.
    You organise the transportation of incoming and outgoing goods, and ensure that delivery dates are met
  • You handle complaints and returns of non-conforming products to the supplier
  • Your area of responsibility also includes ongoing inventory control, active management of supply chain risks and continuous monitoring of material prices

YOUR EXPERIENCES

  • You have completed a business education at HAK or university level (or equivalent)
  • You have relevant experience in international purchasing, including in-depth knowledge of purchasing processes and tools
  • You have a basic understanding of materials in the fields of electronics and mechanics
  • You have strong communication skills, including business-level English and, preferably, a good knowledge of German
  • Your intercultural experience enables you to communicate smoothly with both internal and external stakeholders
