Software Developer (m/f/d) - Embedded Software / Firmware

YOUR MISSION:
You will be responsible for the self-reliant development of high-quality firmware and software using open source. Thereby, you will quickly build up solid expertise in innovative technologies and ensure firmware and software quality through test automation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Your responsibilities will include designing and developing firmware and software for microcontroller units and FPGAs used in keyboards and displays
- You will make the software available for review using the relevant tools (e.g. GitLab)
- You will document requirements, designs and acceptance criteria in Confluence/Jira
- You will also plan and carry out the necessary tests, as well as develop appropriate test automation
YOUR EXPERIENCES
- You have a degree in an engineering subject related to embedded software development, as well as several years of relevant professional experience
- You have in-depth knowledge of embedded firmware and software development, including solid experience with microcontrollers and FPGAs, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python and Assembler
- You are familiar with hardware-related communication and interfaces (USB, Bluetooth, RF, SPI and I2C), and have experience with keyboard scanning and battery management
- You are familiar with modern tools and development environments, such as Confluence, Jira, GitLab and Linux
- You have excellent written and spoken English skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with our international team.
